lyrics
I, eeee yeah, yeah
Come to me, come to me, come to me, mamaya
Come to me, come to me, come to me, mamaya may I
Tell them so that we can rise up, I can be
A tool if you let me, a mountain just vet me,
Believe in me, I can see it all [eeeeeeee]
I can stand strong for us all
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
Ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya-ya-ya
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
Ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya-ya-ya
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
Take hold, call on, call on me Mamaya
[la-la-la-li-li-di-di-di-dun-di-dun-di-dun-di di-di]
[Ya, I was made for love, oooo]
[Di-di-dun-di-dun-di-dun-di-dun-di]
Fi-finish it all, finish it all
[I was made for love]
Tell me, tell us all
[I was, made for this]
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
I can’t stand it, and I can’t stand it, and can stand in if you let me
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
Ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
[Made it through the next day with you]
Ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
[you]
Ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya-ya [I was, made for this]
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya
(I can take the weight, take the weight, take the weight, I was made for this)
Ma-ma-ma-mamaya-ya-ya-ya, ya-ya-ya

It's like Funkadelic for the 21st century! Music like this a gift is unlike no other. Funk is definitely still alive and intergalactic as always (as I make this comment, i find out George Clinton announced his last tour with Parliament). Props to these brothas. The sound of the future! Tony Pierce

Been listening to this since it came out. Smart & spacey. Eris feels light touch and ephemeral, but this has old school roots too. Flying yet grounded! Anat

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
